Monet TylerAlthough born in Calgary, Monet has experienced living in many places during her life including Vancouver Island, New Zealand, California and Texas. Now residing in Vancouver she finally feels like she's home! Her extensive travel throughout North America, as well as overseas has given her a cultural insight and appreciation which allows her to work easily and effortlessly with all kinds of people. Monet began her first career as an elementary school teacher in Tauranga, New Zealand. Her second career, began in Los Angeles and later sent her to Houston and Dallas. As an entrepeneur, she co-owned and operated a chain of photography studios. For 15 years, she marketed and sold franchises of her business, both in North America and worldwide. Driven to excel in anything she does, Monet focuses all her energy and passion on her real estate career and loves it! Her genuine love and concern for people is reflected in the care she takes with each client. Not only does she listen to her client's needs, she delivers more than they expect!

Although she keeps very busy, Monet occassionally makes time for a few hobbies. These include travel, (she just returned from Croatia) and skiing at Whistler with her teenage daughters.

As a way of giving back to the community, Monet participates in runs and charity events which help raise research funds for breast cancer. On Sunday, Oct. 2, Monet ran in the CIBC Run For the Cure 5km run. She was also interviewed and featured on Global's 6pm Evening News. In honour of her dear friend John Thompson who passed away from brain cancer recently, Monet contributes to Heifer International...Helping Hungry families feed themselves.
